Your class has watched a television debate about what should be done to ensure that natural resources, such as water and oil, are not wasted. You have made the notes below.

 

Ways to ensure natural resource are not wasted:

Some opinions expressed in the discussion:

1.- ‘The best method would be to make wasting natural resources a criminal offence.’

2.- ‘Newspapers and TV can have a very powerful impact on people’s behaviour.’

3.- ‘Companies should take the lead by avoiding unnecessary packaging.’
